Claire Christman is a junior research analyst at Activate, where she primarily provides statistical support and review services to the U.S. Department of Education’s National Center for Education Statistics (NCES). She is experienced in reviewing NCES products for clarity, statistical accuracy, and accordance with NCES Statistical Standards. Her review experience also includes disclosure risk reviews, whereby she ensures that individuals using Institute of Education Sciences (IES) restricted-use data products appropriately avoid disclosure of personally identifiable information in their research and reports. Additionally, she has contributed to populating and maintaining the ED Data Inventory. Through her educational background and experiences, she is competent in quantitative research methods, statistical analysis, and scientific writing. She has a B.S. in psychology from St. Mary’s College of Maryland.
