Activate Research served the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) by producing the 2025 and 2026 editions of the Condition of Education. The Condition of Education is an annual report mandated by the U.S. Congress designed to help policymakers and the public monitor the condition and progress of education in the United States. Topics range from prekindergarten through postsecondary education and beyond. The report is published by the Institute of Education Sciences (IES) National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).
Activate managed the full report production process: preparing Digest of Education Statistics tables, conducting statistical testing, updating indicator text, performing quality control reviews, crafting metadata and internet-ready text, and producing 508-compliant PDFs.
